Terms of Sale

This site does not currently sell anything. There is no checkout, no payment and no online ordering. These terms describe how engagements are agreed, and set out in advance the terms that will apply to hosted software when it becomes available.

Nothing is sold on this site today

No contract is formed by using this site. Everything described here is agreed in writing, individually, before any work starts or any fee is due.

How an engagement is agreed

QENTRA works in three stages, each one something a client can stop after. The first conversation costs nothing: ninety minutes and a written framing afterwards, credited against an engagement started within sixty days. A diagnostic is a fixed fee agreed before it begins, running two to four weeks and ending in a decision document. Building together is monthly with a three-month minimum, and part of the fee is tied to an agreed result.

No hourly billing

QENTRA does not bill by the hour and does not offer open-ended retainers. Every engagement has a fee agreed in advance and a defined end. Fees scale to the size of the organisation.

What is agreed in writing

Before work starts, a written agreement states the scope, the fee, the timetable, what each side must provide, who owns the resulting work, and how either side may end it. Where these terms and that agreement differ, the agreement governs.

Invoicing and payment

Invoices are issued in the currency stated in the agreement and are payable on the terms it sets. Any taxes are added according to the rules of the applicable jurisdiction.

Hosted software — applies once available

QPO and EBO are being prepared as hosted services with customer sign-ins. When they are offered commercially, the following will apply and will be restated in each subscription contract: the customer’s data remains the customer’s property; the customer can obtain an export of that data at any time during the subscription and for thirty days after it ends; availability commitments, support response times and the consequences of missing them are stated in the contract rather than implied; and either side may end the subscription on the notice the contract sets.

Consumers

Where a client contracts as a consumer, the mandatory protections of their country of residence apply, including any statutory right of withdrawal, and nothing here removes them.

The four web shops

QENTRA builds and runs web shops for other businesses. Those shops sell under their own names, on their own domains, with their own terms of sale. Nothing here applies to a purchase made on one of them.

Still to supply

These pages are complete except for the registration details below, which only the company can state. Nothing has been invented in their place.
